Admission

The admission procedure, including interviews to the Doctoral School, is carried out by recruitment committees appointed by the Dean of the Doctoral School.

Admission to the Doctoral School in a given discipline of study is determined by obtaining the minimum recruitment point result, and after obtaining it, the number of points obtained by the candidate, specified in the Candidate Card for the Doctoral School, determining the candidate's position on the recruitment list.

The amount of the recruitment fee for the Doctoral School is determined by the Rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

In accordance with Internal Regulation No. 29/2024, the recruitment fee for candidates for the Doctoral School for the academic year 2024/2025 is PLN 210.00 for Polish citizens and EUR 50 or PLN 210 for foreigners.

The main admission starts usually in mid of May and the deadline to submit the application is mid of June. The interviews are organized from end of June to mid of July.

Yes, according to the recruitment rules, the candidate should submit a confirmation from a potential supervisor. Therefore, it is necessary to contact the potential supervisor before submitting the recruitment documents. Officially, this person will be approved as a supervisor within three months after starting the Doctoral School.

To find a person who could potentially be a supervisor, it is best to use the supervisors database, where you can find information about all persons who could be supervisors at the Doctoral School of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
