A next edition of the competition for increased scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year is open for doctoral students of the 2nd,  3rd, and 4th year receiving a doctoral scholarship financed by the University. The deadline for submitting the application is October 23, 2025 by 1 PM.

The amount of increase is PLN 1,448 gross (PLN 1,285 net) per month and will be paid for 12 months of the academic year 2025/2026.

The doctoral scholarship with an increased amount is awarded on the basis of an assessment of the doctoral student's achievements in preparing a doctoral dissertation in the preceding academic year.

The application should be prepared in the doctoral school system (details below), and then the completed and signed application should be submitted in the paper version to the Doctoral School Office in building A-1 room 313.

Printouts of the publications and citations from the DONA system must be attached in the system. The printouts must include publications and citations obtained for the assased period (from 1.10.2024 to 30.09.2025). Please use the following link to obtain the DONA printouts: https://dona.pwr.edu.pl/zamowienie-wykazu/.

Information on the maximum number of doctoral students per year in individual scientific disciplines who can receive a scholarship of an increased amount, the committees assessing the achievements of doctoral students and the schedule for considering applications are described in the Dean's Information No. 28/2024-2028 (link).

The required condition for granting the scholarship is the fact that the doctoral student has at least one of the following above-standard scientific achievements, which are considered to be:

• an article published in a scientific journal or in peer-reviewed materials from international conferences, which were assigned the number of points on the Minister's list shown in the table below,
• a scientific monograph with 80 or 200 points assigned to the Minister's list,
• patent for an invention or protection rights for a utility model, for which 50, 75 or 100 points are awarded.

The below table presents the minimum number of points of an article published in a scientific journal or reviewed materials from international conferences, required for a given scientific discipline and year of education. The number of points is determined on the basis of the current list of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences announced by the minister responsible for higher education and science.

The application shall be submitted by doctoral students in electronic form in the system https://raporty.szd.pwr.edu.pl/ (LOGIN) by selecting the 'Scholarships-> Doctoral scholarship with an increased amount'.

System instructions:

• Select the "LOGIN" button.
• Log in using the standard login: Name.Surname@pwr.edu.pl.
• Go to the "Scholarships" tab and select the appropriate item. You will receive an email notifying you of the creation of the application.
• Edit the application and complete it according to the instructions provided.
• After completing the application, save it and send it to the Supervisor with the "Send to Supervisor" button. The promoter will receive an e-mail with a notification and instructions for logging in. If your application requires a correction, you will be informed.
• After the Supervisor accepts the application, you will receive a notification. Then download the pdf version of the application, print it, sign it and place the scanned version in the system.
• Submit your application using the "Submit Application" button. You will receive a notification confirming your application has been submitted.
