Responsibilities of supervisors
The main responsibilities of PhD supervisors in our Doctoral School are as follows:
- guide doctoral student's scientific development, in particular by holding regular consultations with the doctoral student;
- provide a doctoral student with substantive and methodical assistance in the scientific activity related to the implementation of the doctoral dissertation;
- enable a doctoral student to participate in the scientific activity of the unit employing the supervisor;
- establish individual study plans with a doctoral student;
- give opinions on reports on the implementation of the individual study plan;
- agree with a doctoral student on an individual research plan;
- exercise day-to-day supervision over the implementation of the individual research plan and individual study plans;
- give opinions on doctoral student's applications and requests related to education at Doctoral School;
- support a doctoral student in undertaking international research activities;
- provide opinion on the doctoral dissertation.
