We are pleased to inform you that, pursuant to Internal Regulation ZW 57/2026, as of January 1, 2026, the monthly doctoral scholarships at the Wrocław Tech Doctoral School (funded by the subsidy) are as follows:

    PLN 4 700 gross (PLN 4 171 net) – for the 1st and 2nd year of education (before the mid-term evaluation);
    PLN 5 700 gross (PLN 5 058 net) – for the 3rd and 4th year of education (after the mid-term evaluation).

The increase is a result of the change in the minimum monthly basic salary for a professor at a public university, introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education dated April 14, 2026 (Journal of Laws, item 525).

It is worth noting that the scholarships offered at the Wrocław Tech Doctoral School are higher than the minimum rates set by the Polish Law, which currently amount to:

    PLN  3 571 gross (PLN 3 168 net) – for the 1st and 2nd year of education (before the mid-term evaluation);
    PLN  5 501 gross (PLN 4 881 net) – for the 3rd and 4th year of education (after the mid-term evaluation).
