Recruitment for academic year 2021/2022 is closed. Details for the next recruitment process for the academic year 2022/2023 will be announced in April 2022.
Recruitment documents for the Doctoral School for the academic year 2021/2022 are submitted only via the recruitment system.
The system is open only for candidates with project-funded PhD scholarships.
Be sure to attach the confirmation of receipt of the scholarship ! ! !
Instructions for submitting documents:
- Please create an account in the system using a private e-mail account.
- Please log in to the system and, after confirming the information on the processing of personal data, go to the recruitment form.
- The form consists of 4 parts:
- Candidate's data.
- Graduated colleges/universitie.
- Information on planned studies.
- Attachments.
- After completing the form and attaching all required attachments, you will be able to generate a candidate's card.
- The candidate's card should be printed, signed, scanned and uploaded to the system.
- After uploading the scan of candidate's card to the system, you will be able to complete the submission of your application to the Doctoral School.
- The employees of the Dean's Office of the Doctoral School will formally verify the submitted application. After confirming the correctness of the submitted application, you will be notified by e-mail.
- In the event of missing documents or mistakes, you will receive an e-mail message containing a list of missing documents and mistakes in the documentation with a request to supplement and re-send the documentation.
The most common errors
- Invalid candidate's address.
- Lack of information on master's studies. Candidates who are in the last year of master's studies, who do not have a master's degree by the time of submitting the documentation, should enter the university and faculty at which they are currently studying, and indicate the date of the planned master's or master's degree in engineering, no later than September 13, 2021.
- In the information about planned studies, it is necessary to provide:
- Description of the initial concept of the doctoral dissertation.
- Candidate for the supervisor (supervisor database).
- Incorrect attachments:
- All attachments should be legible and in pdf format, and a photo in jpg format.
- Master's degree diploma:
- It should be in English or Polish language.
- It should have an apostilla (if it’s needed).
- The grade from the course of studies should be confirmed by the dean's office of the university where the candidate graduated or presented as a Transcript of Records. Details are included in the recruitment rules in § 23.
- The first-cycle graduation diploma should be in Polish or in English and have an apostilla.
- The information clause should have the options selected by the candidate, in which he agrees to the processing of his personal data.
- When attaching a supplement to the diploma as a document confirming the average or English grade obtained in the course of studies, please remember to attach the entire supplement, not just one side of it. The confirmation of having an English grade may also be a printout of grades confirmed by the Dean's Office of the university.
- Please also remember to print, sign and attach a scan of the entire candidate card.
