The EIT Jumpstarter programme is a pan-European pre-acceleration programme that contributes to boosting innovation and entrepreneurship within Central-, Eastern- and Southern-Europe by validating innovative solutions from idea holders. We help our participants to build a viable business model around their innovative product or service idea and to validate it. Economic growth, stability, and social impact can be achieved through deep tech. To bring new ideas to the market, Europe needs to nurture its talent pool. There are thousands of researchers, scientists, and early entrepreneurs working on cutting-edge ideas in over 25 countries in Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe. Many of them build innovations but they have a lack of business skills, networks, or market validation. With the EIT Jumpstarter, they get this.

Since 2021, the programme features a New European Bauhaus category in which we are looking for entrepreneurs with innovative solutions that contribute to developing beautiful, sustainable and inclusive places, products and ways of living. The New European Bauhaus is a creative and transdisciplinary movement creating a bridge between the world of science and technology, art and culture. New European Bauhaus is about leveraging our green and digital challenges to transform our lives for the better. This initiation also addresses complex societal problems together through co-creation.
