Delegation of the Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology at the Unite community meeting

On 25-28.02.2025, representatives of the Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology - prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Walkowiak, prof. dr hab. inż. Renata Krzyżyńska and Agnieszka Chaszczewska - took part in the XI Unite! Dialogue - Students: our soul, our core - a meeting of the Unite! community, associating nine European universities, including the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Over 400 people from all over Europe, including representatives of our university, came to the capital of Catalonia.

Representatives of the Doctoral School participated in the work of Community 7, the aim of which is to support European cooperation in the field of education and research, create an open and integrated academic environment by enabling doctoral students to conduct research in an international environment. We strengthen doctoral education through the development of interdisciplinary programs and international cooperation.

Two of our PhD students – Honorata Poturaj and Radosław Szymon took part in a competition to present their PhD thesis in a three-minute presentation. The link to the event can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TirKvwOlOdM

Our PhD student Namitha Nair spoke in a session dedicated to the MSCA Unite.Energy project, which focuses on developing new technologies and solutions in the field of energy storage. The project provides PhD students with the opportunity to gain experience in an international research environment and develop skills necessary for a career in the energy sector.
